Yamaha Motor India will be unveiling the new 2014 Yamaha FZ-S FI v2.0 , where the suffix denotes a fuel injection unit, replacing the older carburetted FZ models. The Yamaha FZ-S FI v2.0 will also feature a new technology internationally known as ‘Blue Core’, which reduces engine frictional loss and in turn improves fuel economy.
Armed with a new fuel injection system and the Blue Core technology, the new Yamaha FZ-S FI v2.0 is said to have improved fuel economy of the muscular bike by 14 per cent over its predecessor. The engine otherwise remains unchanged. The new bike also gets some minor cosmetic upgrades.
Currently, Yamaha Motor India has just unveiled the Yamaha FZ-S FI v2.0, though we expect the same enhancement will also be given to other FZ-series models like the Yamaha FZ and Yamaha Fazer. More details about the new 2014 Yamaha FZ-S v2.0 FI coming soon. (Also read: Yamaha launches new FZ-S and FZ version 2.0 in India)
