New Bajaj Platina ES Launched at Rs 45,431

The new Bajaj Platina has been spotted testing on several occasions so far. The Chakan-based bike-maker finally put all ambiguity to rest with the launch of the upgraded Platina ES that comes equipped with an electric start. Aside from an electric started, the new Platina ES also sports refreshed body graphics and will be offered in Red, Blue and Black colour options. The new Platina ES will continue to have blackened out alloy wheels, exhaust and engine.  

Talking about the engine, the new Platina ES comes with a 102cc heart with dual spark plugs and twin valves that makes 8.2PS of power at 7,500rpm and 8.05Nm at 4,500rpm. The engine comes mated to a four-speed transmission that shifts in an all-up pattern. Like the kick start model, the ES too comes equipped with a telescopic front suspension and a hydraulic type rear shock absorber. Braking duties are performed by 110mm drum brakes at the front as well as at the back. Bajaj claims ARAI certified an efficiency of 92kmpl for the new Platina ES. 

Bajaj Auto has priced the new Platina ES at Rs 45,431 (ex-showroom Mumbai). Certain dealers are also offering special discounts and offers along with accessories like seat cover, leg guard and more.
