Hero MotoCorp has launched the 2015 version of its commuter offering, the HF Dawn with cosmetic changes and added features. The 2015 Hero Dawn has been priced at Rs 39,730 (ex-showroom Delhi). According to Hero, the 2015 HF Dawn has been targeted at buyers from the rural market. For this purpose it has provided the new Hero HF Dawn with a metal carrier to enhance the luggage carrying capacity of the motorcycle. Other changes made on the new Hero HF Dawn include a more upright and comfortable riding position and elongated seats. The motorcycle also sports a side-stand indicator as seen on the Hero Splendor iSmart. 

No changes have been made on the mechanical front. Powering the 2015 Hero HF Dawn is the tried-n-tested 97.2cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder mill churning out 8.3PS of power and peak torque rating of 8Nm. The powerplant is mated to a four speed gearbox with a heel-n-toe shifter. Hero hasn’t claimed any fuel efficiency figure but expect it to be around 70kmpl. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at front and twin hydraulic shock absorbers at the back. Braking is done by drum brakes at front and rear. The bike has a fuel tank capacity of 10.5 litre and it tips the scale at 109kg.The 2015 Hero HF Dawn will be available in three solid shades of red, silver and maroon alongwith two dual colour options of black with purple and black with red.
