After showcasing the updated Hero Pleasure last year, Hero MotoCorp has quietly launched the new scooter by updating its official website. As part of the facelift, the Pleasure has been given cosmetic updates and new additional features. Exterior changes include restyled headlight, taillight, indicators and grab rail. The instrument cluster has been also changed with an addition of side stand indicator. The cosmetic changes are subtle but make the new Pleasure look more compact and edgy and this should appeal to the youngsters. To make the new Pleasure more visually appealing, Hero has given it ten colour options and customers have a choice to select mono and dual-tone shades.
In terms of features, the new Pleasure has been equipped with LED light in the underseat storage area, mobile charging socket and lockable glove box. The new Pleasure has been loaded with IBS (integrated braking system) which is similar to Honda’s Combi Brake Sytem (CBS) and helps in reducing the braking distance by close to 15 per cent. Another useable addition the new scooter is that it sports tubeless tyres. No changes have been made on the mechanical front and the new Pleasure will be powered by the same 102cc mill as found on the standard scooter producing 6.8PS of power and 7.8Nm of torque. The new Pleasure will be available in two variants, the base model with standard cast wheels and the premium variant with alloy wheels and IBS. The new Hero Pleasure will be pitched against the TVS Scooty Pep+ in our two-wheeler market
New Hero Pleasure pricing (ex-showroom Mumbai):
Cast wheels version: Rs 45,960
Alloys and IBS version: Rs 47,075
