To support the launch of its new Civic model across Europe, Honda has introduced a mobile smartphone application that lets buyers explore the car prior to purchase.
Designed and produced by Nexus/H, the app has some super geeky tools like the 'wind tunnel'. All you need to do is blow into your smartphone microphone and discover the aerodynamic and handling characteristics of the new Civic. Fantastic isn't it?
Apart from this, the other exciting features include an interactive 'hot spot' game that demonstrates the variety of items that can be conveniently stored within the flexible interior and luggage area. With the use of an accelerometer, you can view a 'dynamic 360 degree view' of the car.
That's not all; you can also customise and create your own Civic by choosing the right colour, engine, model and grade, and then share with your friends on Twitter and Facebook.
The new app also combines both online and offline channels with the adoption of QR codes on the new Civic printed catalogues for a more dynamic and interactive experience.
The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Android Market in over 20 markets throughout Europe including UK. So all you tech-savvy car lovers, go explore the new Civic now!
