The 'Hummingbird 650' has been skilfully handcrafted to give it the low and long cruiser form factor

We're only months away from the launch of the third model in Royal Enfield's 650cc twin-cylinder lineup and we know the bike is going to be a cruiser. But it seems the folks at Bullet Customs just couldn't wait that long, so they've created a 650-powered cruiser of their own. The result is this mean green machine you see on your screen, christened the Hummingbird 650.

Hummingbird 65

It started life as a trusty old Interceptor 650, which was then lowered, lengthened and raked out to give it the necessary cruiser form factor. The Hummingbird also had genre-appropriate ergonomics because the black and green tank swoops down towards a low, scooped-out seat. Footpegs are EXTREMELY forward-set - like, underneath the handlebar, so this definitely won't be the most comfortable custom out there.

Rear

The chopped rear fender, almost non-existent rear seat, and neatly flowing exhaust system all add up to give the bike a nice and clean look, neither too bare nor too busy. Like this test mule of RE's upcoming cruiser spotted recently, the Hummingbird features alloy wheels, and its makers also seem to have thrown in a pretty massive front brake disc. If this is what Bulleteer Customs can create with an upright motorcycle like the Interceptor 650, we'd love to see what it can do with the official RE cruiser once it’s launched.
