The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 is the first new motorcycle from the iconic brand after the launch of the 650 twins and as expected, it has created a lot of buzz. The Meteor 350 debuts the new J-platform and brings with it a new motor, chassis, and a new direction for the brand RE. Unsurprisingly, the Meteor 350 isn’t readily available and there is a considerable waiting period depending on the city of purchase. So if you’re a prospective Royal Enfield Meteor 350 buyer from the following cities here’s how much you would have to wait.
Mumbai
The financial capital of the country has the shortest waiting period for the Meteor 350. Mumbaikars will have to wait around 45 days to get deliveries of their new Meteor.
Delhi & Pune
Royal Enfield enthusiasts from the capital of the country will have to wait between 45 and 60 days to get their hands on the new Meteor 350, depending on the dealer location. As for Pune, the waiting period for the Meteor 350 is 60 days.
Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru & Hyderabad
If you thought two months is a long waiting period, you’re actually lucky! Royal Enfield enthusiasts from the southern part of our country and from Kolkata face a waiting period of 90 days. This means prospective Meteor 350 customers from these cities will only get deliveries by late February or when the financial year ends in March 2021.
The above waiting periods could be brought down if RE scales up production of the Meteor 350. We would also like to remind our readers that not many years back, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 had a waiting period of around 9 months in certain cities! With respect to that RE seems to have done a better job with the Meteor 350 and if you’re planning to buy one, we will suggest that you book one soon!
