Skoda India’s boss Zac Hollis tweeted out that the updated Kushaq Style AT with six airbags and tyre pressure monitoring system will be launched this week. Deliveries for the updated variant will commence from late October.
Until now, the Kushaq Style AT gets only dual airbags and no tyre pressure monitoring system while the MT comes with six airbags and a tyre pressure monitoring system. This led to backlash from buyers as competitors like the Creta and Seltos offer six airbags in their top-spec trims. But it’s good to see Skoda taking feedback and offering more safety features in the top-spec trim.
Zac also tweeted that the compact SUV’s top-spec Style AT will get a price increment as this update is being rolled out. Currently, the 1-litre TSI AT is priced at Rs 15.8 lakh while the 1.5-litre TSI DSG costs Rs 17.6 lakh.
