The Skoda Kylaq is the carmaker’s latest and first-ever entrant in the sub-4m SUV segment in India. With prices ranging from ₹7.89 lakh to ₹14.4 lakh (ex-showroom), it is attractively positioned in the market, and bookings are now open. The SUV is offered in four broad variants, with seven colour options in total, some of which are exclusive to certain trims.
So, if you’re eager to bring home this new Czech SUV, we’ve simplified your decision-making by detailing which colours are available with each variant:
The Skoda Kylaq is offered in a total of seven monotone colours: Candy White, Brilliant Silver, Tornado Red, Olive Gold, Carbon Steel, Deep Black and Lava Blue.
Here’s a look at their distribution across the four different variants of the Kylaq:

The Kylaq is offered in four trims: Classic, Signature, Signature Plus, and Prestige.
The white, silver, and red shades are standard across all variants.
Base variant doesn’t get the Carbon Steel, Deep Black or Lava Blue hues.
Certain variants command a premium for specific colours.
Skoda has not offered a dual-tone colour to the Kylaq for now – we reckon it can possibly be brought in a special edition later. If you want to check how each of the monotone colours looks on the SUV, we’ve covered that bit in this article.
The Skoda Kylaq had been perceived by many as a mini-Kushaq, sharing a similar silhouette with its larger sibling. However, the Kylaq stands out with some unique design elements, including a split headlight setup, a blacked-out version of Skoda’s signature butterfly grille and a curvier rear profile featuring C-shaped wraparound tail lights.
Inside, the dashboard design mirrors that of the Kushaq but adopts a dual-tone black-and-grey theme. The Kylaq also features leatherette upholstery and introduces a segment-first 6-way power-adjustable front seats.
The Kylaq is well-equipped with modern features, including a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an 8-inch digital driver’s display, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a sunroof, ventilated front seats, a 6-speaker audio system, automatic climate control with rear AC vents, keyless entry and connected car technology.
In terms of safety, the Kylaq comes with six airbags as standard, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), hill hold control, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and a reverse parking camera with sensors.
Under the hood, the Kylaq offers a single engine option — a 1-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The Skoda Kylaq is being offered at introductory prices ranging from Rs 7.89 lakh to Rs 14.4 lakh (ex-showroom). Here’s how each of the four variants would cost you depending on the transmission option you choose:

Least to say, the Kylaq would be a noteworthy competitor to all the other sub-compact SUVs in our market like the Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon and Mahindra 3XO.
