Skoda has launched a new variant of the Octavia called the Corporate Edition. Offered exclusively to existing Skoda customers, the petrol-powered version of the Octavia Corporate Edition is priced at Rs 15.49 lakh while the diesel option costs Rs 16.99 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). The Corporate Edition now becomes the new base variant in the Octavia lineup. Compared to the Ambition petrol, it's cheaper by Rs 50,000. The diesel, on the other hand, undercuts the same by Rs 1 lakh. The Octavia Corporate Edition is available across all authorised Skoda showrooms with Candy White being the sole colour option.
The new variant of the sporty sedan can be had with either the 1.4 TSI petrol engine or the 2.0 TDI diesel coupled with a 6-speed manual transmission. The petrol engine can eke out 16.7kmpl while the diesel has a mileage of 21kmpl.
Safety features on the Corporate Edition include four airbags. anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD), Hydraulic Brake Assistant, Anti Slip Regulation, Electronic Differential Lock, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Multi-Collision Braking.
The features list on the Corporate Edition include a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system that includes Android Auto and Apple Carplay, dual zone climate control, quad headlamps with LED DRLs, illuminated and cooled glovebox, multi info display for the driver and 16-inch alloy wheels.
