This comes in after Michael Mayer took up the role of ‘Head of Sales & Marketing’ for VW Passenger Cars - China. Knapp is expected to take charge from July this year. He is primed to drive the passenger car business in India and will report to Thierry Lespiaucq, MD, VW Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd.
