If you’re keen on picking up something exclusive and Italian before the year draws to a close, head to the Motoroyale showroom in Navi Mumbai. This particular dealership is offering significant discounts on certain MV Agusta and SWM models.
The MV in question is the Brutale 800 RR America, of which just 5 units are up for grabs. The sticker price of this bike is a somewhat exorbitant Rs 18,73,000, but interestingly, this is still Rs 26,000 more affordable than the standard 800 RR, due to differences in the dollar rates when both models were imported. To further sweeten the pot, Motoroyale is offering a big fat discount of Rs 2,99,000 on the ex-showroom price of the America.
The motor in the Brutale is Euro 4/BS4-compliant, so this discount scheme is most probably being offered in the interest of stock clearance. Five units of the America were allotted for India when it was launched in April this year, and none have been sold so far. If they remain unsold by April 1, 2020, they will effectively turn into very expensive paperweights.
The other Italian motorcycle being offered on discount is the SWM Superdual T. If you’ve been on the fence about picking up one of these dual-purpose bikes, the Rs 69,000 reduction being offered by Motoroyale should help. Considering that the ex-showroom price is Rs 6,50,000, this is a fairly significant markdown. Once again, this is a BS4 bike, so we suspect Motoroyale wants to get it off its hands as soon as possible.
