Tata managed to retail 650 units of the Nexon EV in June.
It comes in three variants: XM, XZ+, and XZ+ Lux.

With a starting price of Rs 13.99 lakh, the Nexon EV is the most affordable EV in the market.
In June 2021, Tata Motors recorded the highest sales for the Nexon EV, at 650 units. The EV was launched in January 2020 and despite the pandemic, the carmaker has managed to retail over 4,000 units till date.
The Indian market currently has three relatively affordable EVs with over 300km of claimed range: Tata Nexon EV, MG ZS EV, and Hyundai Kona Electric. The ZS EV has sold 3,000 units since its launch in January 2020.

The Nexon EV comes loaded with features such as a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech, an electric sunroof, auto air conditioning, and a semi-digital instrument cluster with a 7-inch display. Safety is taken care of by dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and a rear parking camera.
The Tata Nexon EV retails between Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 16.56 lakh (ex-showroom). Its alternatives are the Hyundai Kona Electric and MG ZS EV, which are priced just over Rs 20 lakh. The Nexon EV will soon have a direct competitor in the form of the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 Electric which is expected to be launched in 2022.
