To commemorate the facelifted Tiago’s first anniversary, Tata Motors has launched a limited edition of the entry-level hatchback, priced at Rs 5.79 lakh (ex-showroom). It’s based on the second-to-base XT variant and comes with additional features. Here’s how much you have to shell out more than the Standard XT:

The Tiago Limited Edition costs Rs 30,000 more than the XT variant. For the extra dough, it packs three new features -- a 5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 14-inch blacked-out alloy wheels, and a rear parcel shelf. The touchscreen infotainment system is similar to the unit offered in the pre-facelifted Tiago and comes with the following features:
Navigation through Navimaps.
Rear parking sensors display.
Voice command functionality.
Image and video playback.
However, it misses out on Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Other noticeable features in this variant include manual air-con, steering-mounted audio controls, front and rear power windows, electrically adjustable ORVMs, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and parking sensors.
Tata will offer the Tiago Limited Edition in three shades -- Flame Red, Pearlescent White, and Daytona Grey.
The limited-run hatchback continues to utilise the 86PS/113Nm 1.2-litre petrol engine coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission. Nope, for this edition, you don’t get an AMT.
Have your eyes set on this Limited Edition? We suggest you be quick, as only 2,000 units will ever be manufactured. The Tiago locks horns with the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R and the Hyundai Santro.
