There are at least three new SUVs to look forward to, from Hyundai, MG and Citroen. The Jeep Compass receives a new better-equipped variant to ward off the heat from the Tata Harrier. 1) Citroen C5 Aircross SUV Launch In 2020
Groupe PSA hopes it’s third time lucky in India, reveals plans with the Citroen brand - beginning with the C5 Aircross. Will take on the Jeep Compass, Hyundai Tucson and other upcoming SUVs which may join the premium SUV space. Read more details here.
2) Hyundai Venue SUV Launch Soon
Hyundai has announced its Maruti Vitara Brezza competitor, the Venue, will be launched in India later in May 2019. It will be the first ever ‘connected’ SUV in the segment, with an in-built SIM card offering Wi-Fi, over-the-air updates (OTA), real-time traffic updates and more. All the details here.
3) MG Hector SUV Launch Soon Too
The fight for being the first connected SUV is on, the Hyundai Venue will duke it out with the MG Hector which is also slated to be launched in May 2019. 4) Renault Teases New Triber
Renault teases a new 5-seater car, which will be affordable but spacious enough to accommodate anyone’s ‘tribe’. While we expected it to be based on the Kwid platform, the company claims it is based on all-new modular one - we expect it to be priced comfortably between the Kwid and the Duster.
