1.    New front exterior design

The 2016 Toyota Fortuner will get an all-new design, quite similar to the current line-up of Toyota off-roaders and pick-up trucks. However, unlike the current Fortuner on sale, the new model will not resemble the HiLux pickup from the front.

The front gets sleeker and sharper wrap around projector head-lamps flanking a new twin-slat grille with generous amount of chrome, with chrome bars playing up the v-shape of the grill. Then there are the circular foglamps surrounded by thick chrome accents and complemented by LED DRLs.

The rear end of the car has been revamped too, the designers opting for a sleeker look than the previous generation Fortuner.

New tail lamps are wrapped nicely around the boot lid and a thick chrome strip, like the current generation car, is splayed across the boot hatch.
