Toyota To Bring The Tough Hilux Pick-Up To Indian Shores This Diwali

The Glanza sees the highest increment of Rs 34,000 for the G mild-hybrid variant.
The Urban Cruiser is not as affected as the Glanza.
Toyota retails the Glanza from Rs 7.34 lakh to Rs 9.30 lakh.
The Urban Cruiser is priced from Rs 8.63 lakh to Rs 11.41 lakh.
Back in early-April, Toyota had hiked the prices of the Innova Crysta, Fortuner, and the Camry. Fast forward a month, and the Glanza hatchback and the Urban Cruiser sub-4 metre SUV have also witnessed an increment. Here’s how they are priced now:

The rebadged Maruti Baleno gets a uniform price hike for the ’G’ and ‘V’ variants at Rs 16,000 and Rs 20,000 in both manual CVT guises respectively. The G mild-hybrid sees the biggest price hike of Rs 34,000.

Toyota’s sub-4 metre SUV sees a lower hike compared to the Glanza. While the Premium MT and AT get the same Rs 6,000 increment, the base Mid MT and High MT see the maximum hike of Rs 13,000. Their automatic equivalents have become dearer by Rs 3,000.
The Glanza now retails from Rs 7.34 lakh to Rs 9.30 lakh, whereas the Urban Cruiser is priced from Rs 8.63 lakh to Rs 11.41 lakh. The Glanza rivals the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Volkswagen Polo, Tata Altroz, and the Honda Jazz. The Urban Cruiser, on the other hand, goes up against the likes of the Nissan Magnite, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Honda WR-V, Ford EcoSport, Tata Nexon, and Mahindra XUV300.
With this, only the Yaris and Vellfire are yet to receive a hike. There’s no word on whether Toyota will increase their prices.
