Toyota Kirloskar Motor has issued a voluntary recall for the Innova Crysta and Fortuner models to inspect the fuel hose routing and carry out repairs if necessary. The recall has been issued for petrol-powered models only. Cars manufactured between 21 July 2016 to 22 March 2018 are likely to be affected by this issue. According to Toyota, the recall has been issued to ensure its customers’ safety and satisfaction.
Toyota dealers across the country will be getting in touch with owners of cars manufactured between the aforementioned dates. Needless to say, repairs, if any, will be carried out at no additional cost.

Toyota has always been the biggest player in the MPV and SUV segments. It’s not just the quality and robustness of its cars, but the company’s commitment to after sales service too that has helped it become a household name in the country. The Innova Crysta was launched way back in August 2016 and has since been a runaway success for Toyota. Despite being priced at a premium, with prices starting at Rs 13.52 lakh and going all the way up to 22.15 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), the Innova Crysta has become a benchmark in its segment. The Fortuner, on the other hand, needs no introduction. From government officials to SUV aficionados alike, the Fortuner has always struck the right chord with the crowd.
