Trek Bicycles has extended its FX range of bicycles in India by launching five new variants - the FX 1, FX 2, FX 3, FX 2 Disc and the FX 3 Disc. Here’s a detailed look at the prices of each model:

The newly added range of bicycles features Trek’s patented lightweight high-performance Aluminum frame. As you move up the ladder, the FX series get lighter and more feature-rich. For example, the heaviest of these five bicycles is the FX 1, which weighs 12.55kg. The top-end FX 3 Disc variant tips the scale at 11.38kg. Now, the 1.17kg difference may not seem like a lot to you, but it does make a difference while cycling.

In terms of features, all variants apart from the FX 1 come with Bluetooth compatibility, which provides log routes and tracks fitness progress on your computer or smartphone. The FX 3 variant and the FX 3 Disc variant get additional features such as puncture-resistant tyres and carbon forks. Interestingly, these bicycles are not equipped with suspension at both ends even though they cost as much as a petrol-powered motorcycle.

Trek Bicycle launches top-of-the-range hybrid bikes; the FX Series- FX 1, 2, 3 and FX 2 Disc & FX 3 Disc - for fitness aficionados in the country. The newly introduced range targets riders looking for a versatile ride - for fitness, commuting or leisure riding. The 2019 FX series in India starts at a price point of INR 32,199 and is primed for performance, comfort and utility. The hybrid range features Trek’s patented & lightweight Alpha Gold Aluminum frame, carbon forks, IsoZone gel handlebars and grips, tubeless ready rims and puncture-resistant tyres.
The series comes with the unique DuoTrap S compatibility which integrates a Bluetooth/ANT + sensor into the frame to provide log routes and tracks fitness progress on your computer or smartphone with no external sensor. The new IsoZone Handlebar absorbs the road bumps and gives more control for an incredibly comfortable ride along with Carbon fork technology, which swoops forward towards the dropouts, absorbs vibrations from the road so the rider’s arms don’t fatigue as quickly.
