TVS Motor Company has launched a special edition of its popular TVS Victor commuter motorcycle. TVS has ridden in the new Premium edition of the Victor with cosmetic updates to cash in on the ongoing festive season. The TVS Victor Premium Edition will be priced at Rs.55,065 (ex-showroom Delhi) and will feature redesigned graphics, body coloured pillion grab rail, chrome details on the side panels and a golden finish for the engine case. Commenting on the new offering, Aniruddha Haldar, Vice President (Marketing), Commuter Motorcycles, Scooters and Corporate Brand, said, “At TVS Motor Company, we are constantly seeking to offer technologically superior and stylish experience to our customers. This festive season, an icon is getting a whole new look. This premium edition of TVS Victor now offers quality and performance with bold styling and personality. We are sure that our consumers will enjoy this bolder and striking presence on the road as they enjoy the Ultimate “Joy of Riding” on their TVS Victor, thanks to the advanced O3C 3V Engine.”
Mechanically, there is no difference and the TVS Victor continues to be powered by the same 110cc, single-cylinder 3-valve engine that delivers 9.5PS of power at 7500rpm with a torque of 9.4 Nm at 6000rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox and TVS claims a mileage figure of 72kmpl. While the stock TVS Victor is available with both drum and disc brake options, the Premium Edition will be offered with only disc brake. The instrument console is a semi-digital unit with the analogue tachometer taking centre stage while the speedometer, odometer, service indicator, trip meter and fuel gauge are displayed digitally. The TVS Victor Premium edition will rival the Honda Livo and the Hero Splendor iSmart 110.
