The Japanese brand has some interesting models planned for the next year
Kawasaki 2021 launches

This year, Kawasaki introduced the new Ninja 650 and the Z650 along with the BS6 versions of the other motorcycles in the country. So what does the Japanese brand have in store for us for the upcoming year? Here are the motorcycles likely to be launched in the country:

Ninja ZX 10R
Expected price: Rs 16 lakh
Expected launch: Q2 2021
Kawasaki unveiled the 2021 iteration of its flagship supersport, the Ninja ZX-10R. This is the first significant update in the last four years. The bike sports the same 999cc inline four-cylinder engine but gets new internals and an updated bodywork that promise an additional 17 percent downforce over the outgoing model. The bike will be launched by the second quarter of 2021 and could be priced from Rs 16 lakh, Rs 2 lakh more than the current model.

Ninja 300
Estimated price: Rs 3.15 lakh
Estimated launch: Q1 2021
Kawasaki (temporarily) pulled the plug on the entry-level supersport in the Indian market since it could not meet the stringent BS6 emission norms. However, the bike is expected to make a comeback in its BS6 avatar in the first quarter of 2021. We expect the price to be marginally hiked, however, it will continue to be the cheapest parallel-twin offering from the brand in the country.

W175
Estimated price: Rs 1.80 lakh
Estimated launch: Q1 2021
The entry-level retro roadster packs a 177cc single-cylinder engine producing 13PS and 13.2Nm. The bike has already been spotted testing in Pune and is likely to be launched by the second quarter of 2021. The W175 will lock horns with the likes of the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Honda H’Ness CB350, considering the Kwacker’s pricing. This would be the cheapest offering from the brand in India and also its first attempt to capture the lucrative small-capacity segment.

Ninja H2 SX
Estimated price: Rs 24 lakh
Estimated launch: Q3 2021
The 2021 version of the supercharged sports tourer from the revered Japanese brand could be launched in India by the third quarter of 2021. The bike is powered by the same supercharged 998cc inline four-cylinder motor seen on the Ninja H2. However, being a sports tourer, the engine is tuned differently and develops 200PS and 137.3Nm. Expect the new bike to be priced around Rs 24 lakh, almost a lakh more than the current model.
