Volkswagen has pulled the wraps off its new concept the - Volkswagen Fox Pepper ahead of its world premiere at the Sao Paulo Motor Show, in Brazil this month. Based on the Volkswagen Fox hatch, a popular model in Brazil, the Fox Pepper is described by the automaker as a ‘sporty and youthful’ concept.
The new Fox Pepper concept features a A Red Tornado exterior, along with a special front bumper and plastic body cladding. The model also comes with honeycomb grille inserts, a black roof and 15-inch alloy wheels.
Though, the interior is still kept a mystery, the German carmaker has offered some information just enough to keep the potential buyers intrigued. Volkswagen states that the cabin will feature two-tone leather seats, red air vents and ‘Fox Pepper’ badging. There will also be an infotainment system which will work on a 5.5-inch display with GPS navigation.
A 1.6-litre four-cylinder engine will work under the hood of this new model to churn out 120PS of power when running on ethanol. It enables the model to sprint from 0-100kmph in just 9.8 seconds before reaching a top-speed of 189kmph.
More details on the Volkswagen Fox Pepper concept will emerge in two weeks time from now once the model officially premieres at the Sao Paulo Motor Show. Watch this space out.
