Volkswagen opens new Pune West Dealership

As official automotive partners of the fourth season of the ongoing Indian Premier League and having just introduced the all new Volkswagen Passat with BlueMotion Technologies for the very first time in India, Volkswagen is making some well-thought of moves in India, and the company’s growth of 13% in 2010-2011 as compared to its previous financial year is a sign of the auto giants steady growth in the county.

Steadily expanding its dealership network in India, the German car maker has just opened its second dealership in the city of Pune, located in Pashan. The opening of the Pune West showroom takes Volkswagen’s total sales network to 71dealerships in 57 cities across the country.

Adding further excitement to the inauguration of the new dealership in the city was the introduction of Volkswagen’s Blue Motion-Technology enabled “All-new Passat”, as well as its first limited edition ‘IPL Edition’ Vento, both of which caught the attention of the media, customers and other personnel gathered for the opening of the new dealership.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Neeraj Garg, Member of Board and Director Volkswagen Passenger Cars, Volkswagen Group Sales India Pvt. Ltd. said ”It is an extremely special day for us as we unveil two of our latest and most exciting products here in the city of Pune. We are confident that our customers will enjoy driving the latest.”

The new dealership is in tandem with the standards and facilities that the Volkswagen Group provides across the globe, not only in terms of its overall look, but also the quality of the services provided to its customers. Every personnel working at the Pune West Dealership has received special training by Volkswagen to provide the best services possible to all its customers. 

The new showroom is around 5,000 square feet, and can easily display 5 full-sized cars at the same time. Also, part of the new facility is a state-of-the-art paint and body workshop, which is well-equipped to service all the latest Volkswagen cars.
