Suzuki has unveiled the Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000 WSBK replica motorcycle. The new bike is a limited edition motorcycle featuring the same livery as found on the Crescent WSBK machine piloted by Alex Lowes and Eugene Laverty in the World Superbike Championship. Apart from the livery, the Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000 WSBK replica features a Yoshimura R77 exhaust and GB Racing engine covers. Additionally, the pillion seat cowl of the limited edition replica bike will be signed by Crescent Suzuki riders Alex Lowes and Eugene Laverty.
Suzuki GB Marketing Manager, Rob Cooper said: ‘Following the popularity of the Tyco Suzuki replica GSX-R600 released earlier this summer, we're delighted to follow it up with a Voltcom Crescent Suzuki edition GSX-R1000. In the UK we're in a great position, where we have a British-based team with home-grown riders competing on the world stage, so it's an excellent opportunity to show support your support.’
Changes on the new Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000 WSBK replica have been restricted on the cosmetic front as no updates have been made to the bikes powerplant. The 999cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four motor churns out 185PS at 12,000rpm and peak torque of 117Nm at 10,000rom. The Voltcom Crescent Suzuki liveried GSX-R1000 will be on sale in the UK market for Rs 11 lakh, which is a premium of Rs 1 lakh over the standard offering. To maintain exclusivity, production of the Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000 WSBK replica has been limited to just 25 units.
