In lieu of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s recent announcement about the reduction of corporate tax from 30 to 25 per cent, Volkswagen India has introduced the Corporate Edition variants of all its diesel models. This consists of the Polo, Vento, Ameo and Tiguan. In addition to this, Volkswagen continues to offer its 5-year warranty and 5-year roadside assistance on the models. However, in the case of the Tiguan, this warranty and RSA plan is only applicable to the Corporate Edition. Depending on the model, this edition will offer a variety of offers such as purchase benefits, vehicle servicing, accessories as well as loyalty benefits. Here are the special offers that are included with all the Corporate Edition models.
The Polo Corporate Edition is based on the Highline Plus (Diesel) variant. It gets benefits of upto Rs 1.16 lakh over the ex-showroom price of Rs 9.32 lakh.
All diesel variants of the Ameo will get benefits of upto Rs 1.30 lakh over their ex-showroom price. Diesel variants of the Ameo include the Trendline (Rs 7.12 lakh), Comfortline (Rs 8.11 lakh) and Highline Plus - Rs 9.26 lakh (MT)/Rs 10 lakh(AT).
The Corporate Edition on the Vento Highline Plus (Diesel) will be offered at a special price of Rs 9.99 lakh alongwith benefits of up to Rs 90,000 over the special price.
Volkswagen’s Tiguan Comfortline will receive the highest benefits of a whopping Rs 4.50 lakh over its Rs 28.15 lakh ex-showroom price.
Volkswagen Passenger Cars director Steffen Knapp welcomed the announcement and said, “We at Volkswagen, would like to pass on the benefit to our customers through our Corporate Edition. We are confident that this initiative would regain customer sentiment.”
These benefits will be applicable for corporate individuals as well as organisations across industries. It includes MSMEs, government employees, lawyers, architects, chartered accounts, and more. The Corporate Edition models will be available at VW's 132 dealerships across the country.
