Customers now have the option of three body colours (matte blue, matte black and Ice Fluo), four alloy wheel colours (vermillion, gold, racing blue, neon green) and three livery colours that match the alloy wheels. However, if the gold rims have caught your fancy, you’ll have to wait till March 2021. The new options have been introduced at Rs 1,43,900, a premium of Rs 4,000 over the standard colours. For those who prefer one of the stock colour options, Yamaha will have them on sale as well. The black and blue colours come with a sticker of Rs 1,39,900 while the Ice Fluo-Vermillion costs Rs 1,40,990 (all prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
Apart from these colour options, no aesthetic or mechanical changes have been made to the bike. The MT-15 continues to draw power from the Yamaha R15 V3-sourced 155cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor producing 18.5PS at 10,000rpm and 13.9Nm at 8,500rpm. The MT-15 comes equipped with premium features such as a slipper clutch, single-channel ABS, a negative lit console, and even LED illumination.
