Tata Motors has taken the wraps off the 2023 Harrier facelift, which features a much more chic design, a revamped cabin and plenty of upmarket features. It’s the first midlife design refresh for the SUV, which has been on sale since January 2019. And in this report, we are going to explain how much of an upgrade is the facelifted Harrier when compared to the outgoing model.
The pre-facelift Harrier was already a good looking model to begin with. And with the update, Tata has taken the Harrier’s aggressive demeanor a notch up.
It now features a closed off grille with a connected LED DRLs (a design touch not available in pre facelift) with welcoming and goodbye function. Like before, you continue to get a split headlamp setup, but in the new car, they are now LEDs and housed in an aggressively styled triangular housing.
No major changes have been made to the sheet metal in the side profile. However, the wheel designs are new and is a size larger at 19-inches, while there is a ‘Harrier' badging on the front door.
At the rear, the facelifted Harrier now gets a new set of connected LED tail lamps that have a sharper motif, taking the X factor up a notch. A tweaked rear bumper design rounds off the overall design updates made to the Harrier.
The overall dashboard layout and design of the 2023 Harrier facelift is same as before, but in the new car, the lines are sharper, giving it a sleeker and upmarket look. Depending on the variant you pick, the Like before, there is a floating touchscreen infotainment system, which has now been upgraded from a 10.25-inch screen to a larger 12.3-inch unit.
The four-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters, featuring an illuminated Tata logo, is new and welcome. And behind it is the presence of a fully digital 10.25-inch driver’s display, which is an upgrade from the earlier 7-inch unit.

New features onboard the 2023 Harrier include a fully digital 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display, a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a knee airbag (total: 7), powered tailgate with gesture opening, rear sunshades and powered co-driver’s seat.
