So we decided to put them head-to-head in a performance comparison to see how they fare in real-world conditions. The Creta offers more engine options compared to the Elevate. However, a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine is common to both the SUVs.

The Honda Elevate's 6 PS power advantage on paper translates to a one second lead in the 0-100 kmph acceleration test. It also outperforms the Creta in quarter-mile acceleration by about a quarter of a second, reaching a higher speed of 125.11 kmph.
In terms of braking performance, the Elevate is marginally better than the Creta, achieving a stopping distance of 37.98 metres compared to the Creta's 38.12 metres.

Pricing-wise, the Hyundai Creta starts from Rs 11 lakh and goes up to Rs 20.15 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Honda Elevate is priced between Rs 11.69 lakh and Rs 16.71 lakh (ex-showroom). Apart from rivalling each other, they both lock horns with the Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
