Ola Electric has entered the electric motorcycle market with the launch of Roadster X+. The bike is available in two battery pack variants: 4.5kWh and 9.1kWh, priced at Rs 1,04,999 and Rs 1,54,999 (ex-showroom, introductory). Let’s look at other options you can consider at the same price range as the Roadster X+ in India. 

Ather 450X

Price: From Rs 1,46,999 up to Rs 1,56,999 (both price ex-showroom, Bengaluru)

The Ather 450X is a sporty electric scooter from the Bangalore-based startup. The scooter gets a very sleek design and looks quite good. It is available in two battery pack variants: 2.9kWh and 3.7kWh which provide a claimed IDC range of 126km and 161km respectively. It gets a 7-inch touch compatible TFT display which also allows for features such as Google Maps navigation, hill-hold assist, smartphone connectivity, and much more. 

Royal Enfield Hunter 350

Price: From Rs 1,49,900 up to Rs 1,74,655 (ex-showroom, Chennai)

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is a roadster-styled motorcycle. The Hunter 350 is the lightest and the most affordable Royal Enfield motorcycle. It is powered by the same 349cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine as the Classic 350. It makes 20.4PS and 27Nm, and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The Hunter 350 is faster than the Classic 350 due to its lighter kerb weight and 17-inch wheels, which gives it a more sporty riding experience.

Ola S1 Pro+

Price: From Rs 1,54,999 up to Rs 1,69,999 (ex-showroom)

The Ola S1 Pro+ is the fastest electric scooter from Ola. The top-end variant gets a 5.3kWh battery pack which returns a claimed IDC range of 320km on a full charge. The battery is paired to a 13kW mid-mounted electric motor which propels the scooter to a claimed top-speed of 141km and 0-40kmph in a claimed 2.1 seconds. It gets a touch-sensitive TFT display which has a ton of features such as Ola Maps navigation, call and SMS alerts, music control, and more. It gets three ride modes: Eco, Normal, Sports and Hyper. Additional features include dual-channel ABS, brake-by-wire, ride telemetrics, hill-hold assist, etc. 

TVS Apache RTR 160 4V

Price: From Rs 1,24,870 up to Rs 1,39,990 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

The TVS Apache RTR 160 4V is a street naked motorcycle from the Jaipur-based manufacturer. Over the years, the motorcycle has developed a cult-like following thanks to its sporty looks and performance. The bike is powered by a 159cc single-cylinder, air & oil-cooled engine which makes 17.55PS and 14.73Nm, and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. It gets an LCD instrument cluster with riding modes, smartphone connectivity, voice assist and much more. 

Bajaj Avenger Cruise 200

Price: Rs 1,46,893 (ex-showroom, Delhi)

The Bajaj Avenger Cruise 200 is a cruiser motorcycle. It gets a relaxed riding posture which comprises raised handlebar, forward set footpegs and a low slung seat. The bike is powered by a 220cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which makes 19.03PS and 17.55Nm, and is paired to a 5-speed gearbox. The motorcycle is very simple when it comes to features, it gets a digital display which does not support smartphone connectivity.
