Ola Electric recently launched the new Ola S1 Gen 3 series of scooters in India. Priced at Rs 1,54,000 (ex-showroom Delhi), the S1 Pro Plus is the most expensive scooter from the new lineup. At this price point, there are a number of other two-wheelers that one can consider over the Ola S1 Pro Plus. Lets have a closer look at the options.

XPULSE 200 4V

Hero XPulse 200 4V

Price - Rs 1,51,000 (ex-showroom Delhi)

 

The XPulse 200 4V is a light weight dual sport motorcycle from Hero MotoCorp. This motorcycle looks quite rugged and purpose built. The XPulse gets a 199cc single cylinder, air and oil-cooled motor, which produces 19.16PS and 17.35Nm. Being a dual sport motorcycle, the XPulse 200 also gets long travel suspension and a 220mm ground clearance. It gets a disc brake at both ends along with  single channel ABS. The saddle height on the XPulse 200 4V stands at 825mm which is adequate for an off-roader. In terms of features, it gets an LED headlight and a fully digital instrument cluster. It also supports smartphone connectivity and shows turn-by-turn navigation along with SMS/call alerts.

Hunter 350

Royal Enfield Hunter 350

Price - Rs 1,49,000 (ex-showroom Delhi)

 

The Royal Enfield Hunter 350 is a retro roadster with a compact stance. The Hunter 350 uses the same J-series engine from the Meteor and Classic 350. This 349cc single cylinder, air-cooled engine produces 20.4PS and 27Nm. The bike gets a telescopic fork and a monoshock with preload adjustability. 

For braking duties, it gets a 300mm front and 270mm rear disc brake setup. The seat height of the Hunter 350 is 800mm. In terms of features the Hunter 350 is one of the most basic motorcycles out there. It gets a semi-digital instrument cluster which shows all the crucial information like speed, fuel, trip info, service reminder, gear position indicator and service reminder. Customers can also opt for an optional tripper navigation system which allows turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts.

Baja Pulsar N250

Price - Rs 1,51,000 (ex-showroom Delhi)

 

The Pulsar N250 is a street naked motorcycle with comfortable ergonomics and a sporty stance. As the name suggests the Pulsar N250 uses a 250cc single cylinder, air and oil-cooled engine which makes 24.5PS and 21.5Nm. It gets a USD fork and a monoshock with preload adjustability. The N250 uses a 300mm front and a 240mm rear disc brake setup along with dual-channel ABS. This Pulsar gets a 800mm seat height. In terms of features it gets all LED lights along with a fully digital instrument cluster. This cluster is capable of showing all the crucial information along with a turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts. The Pulsar N250 also gets  switchable traction control and ABS ride modes: Road, Rain and On/off ABS.

ATHER 450X

The Ather 450X is an electric scooter with sporty looks and comfortable ergonomics. It gets a 3.7kWh battery pack and the motor produces 22Nm of torque. The 450X gets a telescopic fork and a monoshock. For braking duties, it gets a front disc and rear drum brake setup along with CBS (full form) as standard. Being a scooter the 450X gets a low seat height of 780mm. In terms of features it gets all LED lighting and a 7-inch TFT touchscreen which shows all the crucial information along with navigation and SMS/call alerts. For added convenience the Ather also gets a 22-litre underseat storage with USB charging port.

Aerox 155

Yamaha Aerox 155

Price - Rs 1,49,000 (ex-showroom Delhi)

 

The Aerox 155 is a sporty scooter from Yamaha. It gets a sporty design inspired by the bigger Yamaha motorcycles. The Aerox uses the same engine from the R15 which is a 155cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled motor which produces 15PS and 13.9Nm. This engine is mated to a CVT gearbox. It gets a telescopic fork and a monoshock. For braking duties it uses a front disc and rear drum brake setup along with single-channel ABS. In terms of features the Aerox 155 gets an LED headlight and taillight along with a 5.8-inch LCD cluster which shows all the important information and gets connected to the Y-connect app which shows information like the last parking location, rev counter, malfunction/maintenance alert and daily/monthly fuel consumption data. It also supports turn-by-turn navigation and SMS/call alerts. Yamaha Aerox 155 also gets a 24.5-litre underseat storage for added convenience.
