The upcoming Hyundai Creta N Line has been spotted without camouflage for the first time, hinting at an imminent launch. These images give us a crystal clear look at the changes the N Line model has undergone over the standard model. Here are 5 things you need to know about it:
The Creta N Line gets a heavily revised fascia that’s easily distinguishable from the standard car. Gone is the large rectangular grille, replaced by a sleeker one that connects both the LED headlights. You also get a tweaked bumper with a revised silver skid plate and subtle red accents adding to the aggressive look. The connected LED DRLs have been retained.
The red detailing continues on the side profile and you wouldn’t miss the sportier set of alloys, likely to be 18-inch units, with ‘N’ branded hubcaps. A tweaked bumper with dual exhausts and subtle red detailing round off the overall design updates to the Creta N Line.

As speculated by us earlier, Hyundai did indeed reserve the red/black interior theme for the Creta N Line. You also get some exclusive bits such as the N Line-specific steering wheel and gear knob. Dollops of red stitching across the cabin add to the aggressive look. Apart from these changes, the overall dashboard layout is the same as the standard car.
Since the Creta N Line will be based on the higher-end variants, it should get all the bells and whistles. Highlights will include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display, dual-zone climate control, a panoramic sunroof, a Bose sound system, wireless phone charger and a powered driver’s seat.
Passenger safety is taken care of by six airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, electronic parking brake with auto hold and ADAS.
The Creta N Line will be powered by the standard car’s 160PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, teamed with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. We also wouldn’t discount the possibility of a 6-speed stick shifter for those looking for a more involving drive.
As with all N Line models, tweaks are expected to be made to the mechanicals for a more involving driving experience. That includes a slightly stiffer suspension, a quicker steering rack and a throatier exhaust note.
The standard Hyundai Creta Turbo is priced at Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom) and the N Line model could be priced at a premium over it. However, if Hyundai introduces a lower-spec N Line version or a manual option, then expect it to undercut. It will lock horns with the Kia Seltos GT Line and VW Taigun GT, and also serve as a sportier alternative to the MG Astor and Skoda Kushaq.
