The facelifted Kia Seltos has made its spyshot debut ahead of its expected launch in 2022. Apart from cosmetic updates, Kia could give the Seltos select Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) from the facelifted Creta.
The test mule seen in these images was covered in heavy camouflage. That said, we could notice the included revised grille inserts (likely not to be the latest iteration of Tiger Nose grille), tweaked LED headlights, and revised LED tail lamps. Apart from that, the Seltos should also get revised bumpers and new alloys.
Inside, Kia could update the upholstery and colour scheme to keep things fresh. It could also get new features like a 10.25-inch digital driver’s display (from the Alcazar), a panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto (for the 10.25-inch unit), and select Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, including forward, rear, and blind spot collision avoidance assist.
Features like the 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, Bose sound system, ventilated front seats, sound mood lighting, and cruise control should be retained. Safety features onboard should include multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, and electronic stability control.
The engine lineup is expected to remain as it is. In India, the Seltos gets a 140PS 1.4-litre turbo-petrol, and 115PS 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines. All engines come mated to manual and automatic transmissions while the 1.5-litre petrol can also be had with a clutchless manual.
