Hero Xtreme 250R Spotted Undisguised
The motorcycle was recently unveiled at EICMA 2024
Set to launch in January itself
The Hero Xtreme 250R has been spotted undisguised without a camouflage wrap at what looks like an TVC shoot. Hero had unveiled the motorcycle a few weeks back at the EICMA motor show in 2024.
The Hero Xtreme 250R’s looks are based on the Hero X2.5R Xtunt concept motorcycle that was showcased at the EICMA 2024 motorshow. It gets aggressive streetfighter design elements like aggressive tank extensions, sharp sculpted fuel tank, a split seat setup along with a high tail section. The motorcycle gets an LED headlight at the front and a golden-coloured telescopic fork which gives the bike a bold look.
The Hero Xtreme 250R will be powered by a brand-new 250cc engine which is expected to make 30PS and 25Nm. The engine could be paired to a 6-speed gearbox along with a slip-and-assist clutch. The chassis on the new Xtreme 250R could be an all-new unit which Hero will bring to the upcoming Karizma XMR 250 as well. The suspension consists of an inverted telescopic fork and a monoshock while the braking duties are handled by a petal disc at both ends. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels on both ends.
The Hero Xtreme 250R is expected to be displayed at the Auto Expo 2025 and could be launched by the end of this month. The motorcycle is expected to be priced at Rs 1.95 lakh to Rs 2 lakh (ex-showroom) and will go against the likes of KTM 250 Duke, Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 and the Triumph Speed T4 in India.
