2024 Hyundai Creta facelift-based Alcazar facelift spied in South Korea.
Front is similar to the Creta with new connected LED DRLs and square-shaped LED headlights.
That said, the Alcazar gets its own design for the alloys and new vertically stacked LED tail lamps.
Expected to come equipped with new features such as dual-zone climate control and ADAS.
Likely to retain current 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine options in India.
Expected to command a price premium over the current Alcazar, priced from Rs 16.77 lakh (ex-showroom).
The three-row SUV based on the 2024 Creta, the 2024 Alcazar facelift, has been spotted testing in South Korea. It’s essentially a stretched version of the Creta with an additional row of seats. The current Alcazar has been on sale in our market for a while now and is due for a facelift. Let's decode what the first spy shots of the Alcazar facelift reveal.
Though camouflaged, the front profile somewhat resembles the 2024 Creta with its connected LED DRLs, square-shaped LED headlights and a redesigned front grille for the 7-seater SUV. These updates suggest that the 2024 Alcazar is expected to receive exterior design updates similar to what we have seen with the 2024 Creta.
While the profile of the 2024 Alcazar facelift has not been spied, it will feature an updated multi-spoke alloy wheel design to distinguish it from the 2024 Creta. Even the rear will have bespoke styling, with a pair of vertically stacked LED tail lamps. It also reveals a dual-tip exhaust system similar to the current Alcazar.
The interior of the 2024 Alcazar is yet to be revealed, but it will receive styling updates in line with the 2024 Creta with the dual integrated displays. Features such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless phone charging, cruise control, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, six airbags, and a 360-degree camera system will be retained from the Creta.
Additional amenities such as a dual-zone climate control system and Level-2 ADAS are likely to be borrowed from the 2024 Creta facelift.

Underneath the hood, the 2024 Alcazar is expected to retain the same engine options, including a 160 PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 116 PS 1.5-litre diesel engine. The former is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, while the latter is coupled with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Given the 2024 Creta facelift received a price hike of around Rs 1 lakh for the higher-end variants, you can expect a similar price increment for the Alcazar facelift. For reference, the current Alcazar is priced between Rs 16.77 lakh and Rs 21.23 lakh (ex-showroom). Once launched, it will renew its rivalry with the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, and Mahindra XUV700.
