The upcoming TVS Apache RTX 300 has been spotted testing once again, ahead of its expected launch in mid-2025. This latest round of spy shots provides further insights into the design and features of the bike.
Design
The design of the Apache RTX 300 appears to be focused on comfort and durability. It looks capable of long distance touring, as well as for off-road use. A tall windscreen, a front beak, and fuel tank extensions add to its adventure-ready look.
Engine
The Apache RTX 300 is expected to be powered by the newly-developed 299cc, liquid-cooled engine (RT-XD4), producing 35PS at 9,000rpm and 28.5Nm at 7,000rpm. The engine will be paired to a 6-speed gearbox and is expected to feature ride-by-wire throttle and an assist-and-slipper clutch.
Hardware
It will have a trellis frame, with an USD fork and a preload adjustable monoshock. The TVS Adv is expected to come with a 19-inch front and a 17-inch rear wheel, fitted with dual-purpose tires. TVS is also reportedly working on an off-road version featuring a 21/17-inch spoke wheel setup, which may be introduced later.
Features
Features seen in the spy shots include a TFT display, LED headlamps, and LED turn indicators. The bike is likely to come with adjustable levers, based on previous spy shots. The TVS Adv might also be equipped with multiple riding modes, traction control, and switchable rear ABS.
Pricing & Rivals
The TVS Apache RTX 300 is expected to be launched in mid-2025, at an estimated price of around Rs 2.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon launch, it will rival the likes of the Yezdi Adventure, the BMW G310 GS, the soon-to-launch 2025 KTM Adventure 390 line-up, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, and the upcoming Hero XPulse 421.
