Hero MotoCorp launched the Xoom 125 scooter at Auto Expo 2025. The sporty looking 125cc scooter is available in two variants: VX and ZX. Let’s have a look at what’s different between the two variants of the Xoom 125.

Design

Both variants of the Hero Xoom 125 share the same sporty and aggressive design language. The only difference between them is the colours they come in. The base VX variant comes in two colour options: Matte Storm Grey, and Metallic Turbo Blue. The top ZX variants get two additional colour schemes: Matte Neon Lime, and Inferno Red.

Engine and Underpinnings

The Hero Xoom 125 is powered by a 124.6cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine which makes 9.8PS and 10.4Nm which is paired to a CVT. Suspension duties are handled by a telescopic fork and monoshock. The top-end ZX variant gets a petal disc brake at the front while the base VX variant gets a regular disc brake.

Features

Both variants share the same LCD console but there’s a difference in the features they get. Only the top-end ZX variant gets turn-by-turn navigation. Other features exclusive to the ZX variant are:  Sequential LED indicators, a USB charging point, illuminated start button and an underseat storage light.
