About Nissan Micra Active
The more affordable version of Nissan Micra is the Micra Active which retails in the price
range of Rs 4.65-5.56 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Nissan Micra Active is only available
in the petrol version and comes powered by 1.2-liter gasoline motor putting out a maximum
power of 68 PS along with 104 NM of rotational force. The cute and bubbly design of Micra
Active endows it with a distinct personality and special credit must be given to the frog eye
headlamps. The highlight of the Micra Active cabin is the piano black centre console housing
music and air conditioning controls. The other features include steering mounted audio
controls, driver seat height adjustment, dual front airbags, speed-sensitive auto door lock,
ABS with EBD and BA, and engine immobilizer. In Indian market, Nissan Micra Active is
competing against Tata Tiago, Renault Kwid, Maruti Swift, and Hyundai Grand i10 among
others.
Nissan Micra Active Overview
The Micra’s pocket-friendly cousin, the Micra Active, has been updated for 2018. Updates include the addition of a 6.2-inch touchscreen, reverse parking sensors and a reversing camera. Nissan’s Micra Active continues to be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that develops 68PS of power and 104Nm of torque. It’s available with a 5-speed manual gearbox only.

Questions & Answers on Micra Active
Answered by Zigwheels Expert
Q. Is Nissan Micra Active BS6 launched?
- Nissan has not updated the Micra to meet the BS6 norms.
Q. Nissan Micra ECM damaged, how much cost it will be for replacement?
- For that, we'd suggest you to please visit the nearest authorized service center of Nissan as they would be able to assist you with the exact price and availability of the spare parts. Follow the link and select your city accordingly for service centers.
Q. Is the service cost of Nissan Micra low or high? Are the parts of the car easily available in the market?
- Service cost is decent. Don’t expect service cost of maruti, but they do a good job. Initial 4-5 years we have gotten anywhere from 5-10k, and next 5 years we have gotten minimum of 14k to 22k. The problem is that: 1. Labor cost is way too high. 2. Parts are of good quality, hence price is high. So parts don’t fail easily(just like Honda).3. Nissan does service based on Years and not Km(whichever is first method). So the issue is that, even though my car has only run 50k(over 10 years), they will change all unnecessary parts that have to be changed when vehicle is 10 years/1,50,000. The only advantage that comes from it is, reliability of the vehicle is top notch even today.
- Deoens on the variant and usage. roughly it would cost you around 3k per service but time interval is what matters. 10,000 km is what recommended. When it comes to parts, those are very easily available and even the service centres are widely spread.
- Maintenance is way too costly. I have paid as low as 4.5k (when Service tax existed) to max 19.5k in one servicing. Parts are transported from Chennai.
