Living with the Hero Splendor Plus XTec:
After clocking over 4,000 kilometers on my Hero Splendor Plus XTec, I feel equipped to give a thorough review. For starters, the bike's LED DRLs and the digital analog combo meter with Bluetooth connectivity stand out in its segment. As a daily commuter in a bustling city like Mumbai, the bike’s light weight frame and the impressive fuel efficiency of about 70 to 80 kmpl have been best for my pocket. However, the riding experience has not been entirely smooth. The suspension feels a bit stiff on uneven roads and the 97.2cc engine, although reliable, lacks the acceleration needed for quick overtakes.

This bike does not dissappoint and the engine is very fuel efficient and the city ride is enjoyable. Now it comes with the modern feautres with fully digital screen and USB charging port and also get blueooth connectivity. It handles very well and the performance of this bike and is a very good choice and is a very light in weight bike but is gives high vibration. It is very easy to use and the mid range performance of this bike is very good but the brakes are not good.

The Hero Splendor Plus XTec is marketed as an upgrade to the traditional Splendor Plus and after spending some time with it I am forced to be fan of it by this bike. The XTec variant brings to the table some much appreciated digital features like a fully digital instrument cluster and Bluetooth connectivity makes it feel more in tune with the times. The 97.2cc engine delivers reliable performance and its fuel efficiency is as commendable as ever. Riding through the city the Splendor Plus XTec felt easy to control.

Hero Splendor Plus XTEC Pros and Cons
Splendor Plus XTEC Positives Points: Really peppy and frugal in the city, the bike is planted yet flickable and gets an extensive list of features for a 100cc commuter bike.
Splendor Plus XTEC Negatives Points: The seat gets really vibey really quick, suspension tuning could be better over sharp bumps and initial feedback from the front lever is not very great.
