The 390 adv while having a hard suspension still has decent dampening. It is a tall but light bike but may not suit short riders. While the dukes and rc may not be comfortable for larger riders with a tummy or who are taller this bike will keep such riders comfortable.Pros - good power & features (mtc, Slipper clutch, Cornering abs, Led lights and display)- less weight- strong and can take a bashing- decent service cost- ktm experiences and app- head turner in traffic- good breaking power compared to other adv's (but may be squeaky)cons - - more fuel hungry than dominar or himalyan in similar segment.-turn by turn navigation needs 3rd party app (not official ktm app)-low end torque is not great although improved on 2022 model-long waiting time for delivery (parts availability of fiber parts)-heating and perpetual feeling of the fan being on for cooling.- not available with spokes for serious offroaders(not really a con as those owning a single bike will likely be on road for most of their life.Alloys are good for mild off-roading and provides tubeless tires.)- wind buffeting due to short windscreen(aftermarket long ones available)- no ktm power parts available in indiaall in all still worth it as it is the best bike in less than 5l category.Above this you only have 2nd hand super bikes/or pay a lot more for a new superbike.

Ktm company used usd front suspension in ktm 390 adventure.Basically other bikes company used telescopic front suspension for adventure and long touring. So it have risks to lick oil from the suspension. So i want ktm company give us a satisfactory answer why they used usd suspension front in ktm 390 adventure. Is this good for off road, Adventure ?.

Correct me if im wrong. USD is more expensive than standard forks. It is stiffer. Lots of bigger and more expensive adventure bikes used USD. I've not heard that USD leaks more than regular forks. In fact, i think one of the benefit of USD is the seals are always lubricated making it lasts longer.
KTM 390 Adventure Pros and Cons
390 Adventure Positives Points: Excellent ergos for touring, Retains on-road performance of 390 Duke, Packed with electronic goodies
390 Adventure Negatives Points: Lacks low down torque for off-road riding, 855mm seat height is too tall for average Indian riders, Traction control feels a little glitchy
