KTM 125 Duke is the Austrian bike maker's entry-level naked motorcycle in India. It shares most of its body parts with its elder siblings, giving it a premium appeal.
KTM 125 Duke Key Highlights
Price: KTM 125 Duke is offered as one standard variant, with two colourways (Electronic Orange & Ceramic White). It is priced at Rs 1,78,892 (ex-showroom Delhi).
Design: The 125 Duke takes its design cues straight from the KTM 1290 Superduke. It looks pretty similar to the KTM 200 Duke, with a sharp and mass-forward design. It comes with a sharp-looking headlight, with its sleek tail section being complimented by a wide rear tyre. The bike comes with an underbelly exhaust, with a black exhaust tip. Even the belly pan underneath the engine gets a black finish. The bike comes with an exposed chassis, along with a split-seat setup, making it look quite sporty.
Features: The KTM Duke 125 boasts a fully-digital, LCD instrument console, which shows the usual bits of information such as speed, engine RPM, fuel level, tripmeter/odometer readings, distance to empty, real-time mileage, average speed and a clock. That said, it still misses out on Bluetooth connectivity. It gets a halogen headlight with fang-like LED DRLs above it. The tail lamp and indicators are both LED units. Talking about safety, the 125 Duke comes with a standard single-channel ABS by Bosch.
Engine: KTM 125 Duke is powered by a single-cylinder, 124.7cc, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected, OBD-2 compliant engine, which produces 14.5PS and 12Nm. The engine works in conjunction with a 6-speed transmission and the bike comes with a 13.4 litre fuel tank. The 125 Duke is built on a split-trellis frame, with a bolt-on subframe. Suspension duties are handled by a 43mm inverted fork up front and a 10-step-preload-adjustable rear monoshock (both being WP units). Braking is handled by a 300mm front-disc (with a radial calliper) and a 230mm rear-disc (with floating calliper). The bike rolls on 17 inch alloys, which come wrapped in 110-section (front) and 150-section (rear) tubeless MRF tyres. The 125 Duke comes with 822mm seat height and has a 155mm ground clearance.
Rivals: The KTM 125 Duke does not have any direct competition, however, its closest competitor in terms of price range, would be the Yamaha MT-15 V2.
Variants: KTM 125 Duke comes in a single variant, with two paint schemes. While the Ceramic White variant comes with orange rims and a black-white frame, the Electronic Orange variant gets black alloys, with an orange-black frame.

Zippy but Could Do Better on Highways
The KTM 125 Duke is an entry-level motorcycle known for its aggressive styling, sporty performance, and impressive handling. The 124.7cc engine produces around 14.5 PS and 12 Nm of torque. The KTM might be priced slightly higher than some competitors in the 125cc segment. While mileage figures vary, estimates are around 40 kmpl, which might not be the most fuel-efficient option. Overall The KTM 125 Duke is a great choice for riders.

most loved among all
The ktm 125 duke is one of the most loved bikes specially among the youngsters who are attracted to the fashionable designing and structuring of the exterior of this model. This bike is priced high. I got this for my son on his birthday last year at rs. 1.8 lakhs. The seat is heightened and comfortable. The ground clearance is good and so is the mileage. There are many variants and colour options available.
-
Moderate performance and experience
I am riding KTM 125 Duke from around 1 year and it has never disappointed me in any aspect. The 125cc engine gives a smooth performance for daily usage and a decent mileage of 40-45 kmpl. The rear suspension absorb all shocks easily and the brakes are working properly till now. The ground clearance is moderate so be careful at breakers

High power but with high price
The bike price is high because it gives more power that beats 150 - 160 cc bike and it gives high power and torque with the 125 cc segment. This bike is beginner friendly and comes with the refined engine and the enigne is better than Pulsar NS160 but the dual channel ABS is missing in high price. Duke has the coolest design and can not believe with 125 cc bike it look like 400 cc bikes and KTM Duke becoming most wanted bike because of beautiful design.
