Nexus Key Highlights
Price: The Ampere Nexus is available in two variants: ST and EX. The ST variant is priced at Rs 1,29,900 and also gets an introductory price of Rs 1,19,900. The EX variant is priced at Rs 1,19,900 and gets an introductory price of Rs 1,09,900 (all prices ex-showroom including EMPS 2024, which stands for EMPS or Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme 2024). Ampere EV has not confirmed till when the introductory prices will last. Bookings are open for the scooter for a price of Rs 9,999. Deliveries of the electric scooter will start from the end of May 2024. The Ampere Nexus is available in four colour options: Zanskar, Aqua, Lunar White, Steel Grey, and Indian Red.
Features: The Ampere Nexus gets a 7-inch TFT instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation in the ST variant. It shows speedometer, tachometer, battery range, call and SMS notifications, odometer and other regular readouts. The console comes with 3 display modes: Night Mode, Limp Home and Day Mode screen. The EX variant gets a 6.2-inch LCD instrument console. The Nexus comes equipped with 5 riding modes and all-LED lighting.
Motor: The Ampere Nexus gets an LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery pack with a claimed range of 136km. It gets a swingarm-mounted motor with a top speed of 93kmph. It takes about 3.3 hours to charge the scooter.
Suspension, Brakes & Other Details: The Ampere Nexus gets a telescopic fork and twin shock absorbers. Braking duties are taken care of by a front disc brake and a rear drum brake.
Rivals: The Ampere Nexus rivals the likes of the Ather Rizta, TVS iQube, Hero Vida V1 Pro, Ola S1 Air and Bajaj Chetak.
Range: Nexus can go upto 136 km/charge after a full charge.
Charging Time: Nexus battery takes 3.3 Hr to get charged.

Nexus Running Cost
The Nexus has a running cost of Rs. 0.14 per kilometer. Additionally, the monthly charging cost for the Nexus is Rs. 210. This cost is calculated based on charging the vehicle at a rate of 6.5/ units of electricity and assuming a daily run of 50 kilometers.
