Q. I presently ride Versys 650 and looking for a In-line 4 with somewhat relaxed riding position. I have shortlisted Ninja 1000SX and CBR650R. Feature wise I like Ninja 1000SX and always liked the design and style of CBR650R. Anything around 100 bhp is sufficient and should have modern electronics. So what you guys suggest me?
  • Selecting between the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX and Honda CBR650R would depend on certain factors such as your budget, brand preference, features required, etc. If budget is not an issue and looking for a better power performance at a price and often go for long rides, Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX would be a good option. However, it is a bit heavier side and a bit difficult to handle on narrow roads or in city conditions. Apart from it, it offers a better feature list, riding modes and better road grip. On the other hand, CBR650R is powered by 649cc, liquid-cooled, inline-four engine that has been updated for a stronger mid-range. In its BS6 guise, it now puts out 87PS at 12,000rpm and 57.5Nm at 8500rpm. CBR650R features new graphics, a revised LED headlight reflector profile, and a USB Type-C under seat charging socket. - Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details. Read more -Honda CB650R vs Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX.
Q. I am planning to upgrade from my R15 V3, looking for a middle weight faired Sports tourer under 10lakh on road. I am 5.7ft tall and weight about 60 kg. Suggest between CBR650R and 2020 Ninja 650. Thank you.
  • There is a way big difference in the prices of both the bikes. Honda CBR650R is priced at Rs. 8.88 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price, Delhi ) whereas Kawasaki Ninja 650 is priced at Rs. 6.54 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price, Delhi). If you are on a budget and looking for a feature-loaded bike with better power performance and track-based dynamics, you may go for Kawasaki Ninja 650. On the other hand, If you want a mix of sporty and highway riding, then Honda CBR650R would a great pick for you. Moreover, we would suggest you take a test ride before making the final decision. • First of all I don't know what lakh is. 2ndly I haven't seen Ninja 650 that closely. I'd choose the one with more horsepower cause both are truth worth.
  • Totally Go for CBR 650R, i had upgraded from R15 V1 (Still have her for work etc though) . if you wanna try Inline 4 power then CBR650R is the perfect choice
Q. CBR650R or DUCATI MONSTER 797. Which is better suggest please?
  • Ducati Monster 797 BS4 has been discontinued and is not available for sale in the market. You may go for Honda CBR650R which is available now. CBR650R is priced at Rs. 8.88 Lakh (Ex-showroom Price, Delhi ). CBR650R is powered by the 649cc, liquid-cooled, the inline-four engine has been updated for a stronger mid-range. In its BS6 guise, it now puts out 87PS at 12,000rpm and 57.5Nm at 8500rpm. CBR650R 2021 comprise new graphics, a revised LED headlight reflector profile, and a USB Type-C under-seat charging socket.
