Q. Which is better between KTM RC 390 and TVS RR 310?
  • Apache rtr 310 cc
  • Both the bikes are good in their own forte. If you're looking for a light, powerful, sharp-handling sportbike that'll help you hone your skills, the KTM RC 390 makes perfect sense. However, the bike's committed riding posture means it's more suited for track than a road. And in that case, you could consider the TVS Apache RR 310 which has been significantly improved post its BS6 update. On the other hand, TVS has done an incredible job in ironing out the sore spots of the Apache RR 310 with the BS6 update. It is loaded with tech, making it the most technologically advanced motorcycle in its class. The new prices are quite close to its fiercest rival -- the KTM RC 390. While it may lack the outright performance of the RC 390, the Apache RR 310 BS6 makes up for it by being a well-rounded machine that can do daily duties as well as corner carving or even touring, for that matter. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision. Follow the link and select your desired city for dealership details.Read more -TVS Apache RR 310 BTO Review: Tailored To Your Needs.
Q. I am confused between RR 310 and Meteor 350. I know both are entirely different ride - style. My requirement is fuel range, ergonomics for long travel and power. Please advise.
  • Thanks Zigwheels :)
  • As per your requirements, you may go for TVS Apache RR 310. The TVS Apache RR 310 has always been a fairly quick motorcycle. Quicker than its Bavarian counterparts and almost as quick as the Austrians. The beauty of the RR has always been its great balance of everyday rideability, performance and handling prowess. At 100kmph in 6th gear, with the RR’s motor ticking away at 6000rpm, you can feel almost no vibes. It’s not a butter-smooth motor by any means, but you can easily sit at that speed all day long. Do take a test ride for better clarity. Check out authorised dealership details.
Q. I have shortlisted RR 310, RC 390 and the 390 Duke. Will be using bike for weekend rides and sometimes causally on weekdays too nothing serious commuting or tours kinda stuff.
  • Among the options, we'd suggest you to opt either the TVS Apache RR 310 or the KTM 390 Duke. The committed riding posture and stiff ride quality of KTM RC 390 restricts it for daily usage. However, if you're looking for a light, powerful, sharp-handling sportbike that'll help you hone your skills, the KTM RC 390 makes perfect sense. On the other hand, if everyday performance is your top priority, nothing offers the same sort of explosive acceleration and razor sharp handling as the 390 Duke -- in this price range or in a segment above. Even after the BS6 update, the 2020 KTM 390 Duke remains a well-rounded package tailor-made for thrill-seekers. As for the Apache RR 310, it is loaded with tech, making it the most technologically advanced motorcycle in its class. While it may lack the outright performance of the RC 390, the Apache RR 310 BS6 makes up for it by being a well-rounded machine that can do daily duties as well as corner carving or even touring, for that matter. Moreover, we would suggest you to take a test ride before making the final decision.
