Hyundai Exter has been launched in India with prices starting from Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is essentially a jacked up Grand i10 Nios, which hit the gym and got buffed up. Hyundai’s micro SUV can be had in a total of five trims. Inside, the Hyundai Exter features segment-first equipment including a sunroof, dashcam and six airbags, which try to make up for Hyundai’s late entry into a segment. Engine options for the Exter are limited to a single 1.2-litre petrol engine, which is also available with a CNG kit.
Will the Exter’s package be good enough to beat the Tata Punch? We drive the Hyundai Exter this week, so stay tuned for an answer to that question. Until then, you can make up your first impressions about the micro SUV with all the details that we bring to you through this video.
