- Jawa Perak double seat is not available officially, aftermarket accessories present.
- Jawa Perak sound is muted and not exciting.
- Jawa Perak top speed is around 140kmph or thereabouts
- Jawa Perak mileage test is on par with 350cc rivals.
Jawa’s Perak did go on sale in late-2019 but it is only until now, January 2021, that we have managed to get our hands on the bike for a proper review. It is Jawa’s first factory custom motorcycle, derived from the classic Jawa. The Perak has a larger 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine that puts out 30.64PS and 32.74Nm. It has quintessential bobber elements like the slash cut exhausts, bob-cut fenders and even a single-piece floating seat. Does it manage to wow us? Can it be a great retro motorcycle? And does it justify the almost-Rs 2 lakh price tag? That’s what we intend to find out.
