Mahindra Scorpio N vs Scorpio Classic | 9 things the N does better | ZigWheels

Mahindra plans to have both the Scorpio N and its predecessor, the Scorpio Classic, go on sale together. So if you were planning to take the plunge, the choice of which way to go is quite an obvious consideration. Save money and buy old and proven, or spend more for an updated product? We hope this video clears that little dilemma up.

The Scorpio-N comes with both petrol as well as diesel engine options. The base diesel spec makes 132PS of power while the higher variants get 175PS. The petrol on the other hand, comes with only one tune and makes a mighty 203PS of power. Both engines come with automatic gearbox options, but 4x4 is limited just to the diesel motor.

The Scorpio Classic is powered by the lower spec 132PD diesel motor, will be equipped with only a manual gearbox and no 4x4 option will be offered.  Word is that there will be just two variants on offer, a stripped down base variant and a fully loaded variant. We expect the base price to be around the 10.99 lakh mark.
