Tata Motors has been doubling down on its electric car launch offensive and while the Nexon EV Prime, Nexon EV Max and Tigor EV have established Tata’s credentials as an electric car brand, it was all originally expected to begin with the Tata Tiago EV. Better late than never and Tata seems to have figured out how to retain everything that makes the Tiago likeable while giving it the benefits of electrification.
The Tiago EV is available in standard and extended range variants with range figured of between 250-315km. It’s also reasonably peppy with a 0-60kmph time of under 6 seconds. In this video, we take a look at what’s gone into making the Tiago go electric and what the on paper data could mean in the real world.
