Hyundai Alcazar

Features: The Hyundai Alcazar facelift is equipped with features such as dual integrated 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and digital driver’s display, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated seats for front and second row (only in 6-seater), powered front seats with memory function for the driver, wireless phone chargers for both front and second row seats, dual-zone climate control and a panoramic sunroof. The safety suite includes six airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, hill start assist, hill descent control, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). It is also equipped with a 360-degree camera with a blind view monitor, and level 2 ADAS.

Engine: The Hyundai Alcazar facelift comes with a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that churns out 160 PS and 253 Nm and a 1.5-litre diesel engine that puts out 116 PS and 250 Nm. The petrol engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT, while the diesel engine is coupled with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission. The Alcazar has a claimed fuel-efficiency of up to 17.5 kmpl with the 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual and up to 18 kmpl when mated to a 7-speed DCT. In the diesel powertrain, it returns up to 20.4 kmpl when coupled with a 6-speed manual and 18.1 kmpl with a 6-speed automatic. It measures 4560 mm in length, 1800 mm in width and 1710 mm in height. It sits on a wheelbase of 2760 mm.

Rivals: It rivals the MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, and the 6/7-seater variants of the Mahindra XUV700. The 2024 Hyundai Alcazar can also be considered a rival to some MPVs like Kia Carens and Toyota Innova Crysta.

Variants: The 2024 Alcazar is offered in four broad trims: Executive, Prestige, Platinum and Signature. It features eight monotone colour options: Robust Emerald Matte, Titan Gray Matte, Robust Emerald, Starry Night, Ranger Khaki, Fiery Red, Abyss Black, Atlas White and one dual-tone Atlas White shade which comes with a black roof.
