Mahindra XEV 9e

Features: Key features of the XEV 9e include auto park, two-zone climate control, a 12.3-inch three-screen setup, connected car tech, 65 Watt charging ports, an augmented reality heads-up display, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, powered and ventilated front seats, a panoramic glassroof, and cooled centre storage. Mahindra offers the XEV 9e with a range of safety features, such as 7 airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto-hold, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill hold control, a 360-degree camera, Level 2+ ADAS, and brake-by-wire.

Motor: The XEV 9e is available in two battery pack options – a 59 kWh and a 79 kWh with a range of 542 km and 656 km (MIDC Phase 1+2), respectively. Both battery units are paired with a single motor setup that makes 231 PS/380 Nm with the smaller battery and 286 PS/380 Nm with the larger battery. In terms of charging, the electric SUV supports up to 175kW fast charging that can recharge the battery packs from 20 to 80 percent in 20 minutes. Whereas, Mahindra also offers a choice of 7.2kW and 11kW AC wall box chargers. They can completely juice up the 59 kWh battery pack in 8.7 hours and 6 hours, respectively. On the other hand, the 7.2kW and 11kW can recharge the 79 kWh battery pack in 11.7 hours and 8 hours, respectively.

Rivals: The XEV 9e competes with the likes of the MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3, and the upcoming Tata Harrier EV.

Range: XEV 9e can go upto 656 km/charge after a full charge.

Charging Time: XEV 9e battery takes 20Min-175 kW-(20-80%) to get charged.
