The Bajaj Pulsar 150 has enjoyed a remarkable presence in the market for nearly two decades now, securing its status as one of Bajaj's most iconic motorcycles. Its most recent update in 2018 introduced several enhancements, including a wider 37mm fork, an extended wheelbase, a broader rear tyre, and a split-seat design. The updated Pulsar 150 also incorporates notable features such as a halogen headlamp with AHO (Automatic Headlight On), an LED tail light, and a semi-digital instrument cluster featuring a clock and a tripmeter.

Design

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 retains the well-proven design of its predecessor but incorporates subtle refinements. The bike boasts a menacing appearance, especially with its dual-tone color schemes that exude aggressiveness. Its front end features a halogen headlamp accompanied by twin-pilot lamps, a telescopic fork, and a compact windscreen to enhance aerodynamics.

Sporty graphics adorn the fuel tank, front fender, split grab rails, LED tail lamp, and the split-seat arrangement, further emphasizing the bike's athletic character. The Pulsar 150 is equipped with a semi-digital instrument cluster, which combines an analog tachometer with digital displays for the speedometer, odometer, and tripmeter. Additionally, it includes a clock, low-fuel indicator, and a convenient pass switch. The model is available in three colours: Sparkle Black Red, Sapphire Black Blue and Sparkle Black Silver.

Engine, Mileage and Performance

Powering the Pulsar 150 is by the same 149.5cc single-cylinder engine, which delivers 14PS at 8500rpm and 13.25Nm at 6500rpm. This engine comes paired with a 5-speed gearbox for seamless transmission.

Handling and Ride Quality

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 is equipped with a 37mm telescopic fork at the front and features 5-way adjustable gas-charged shock absorbers in the rear for an adjustable ride. Braking capabilities are provided by a 260mm front disc brake and a 130mm drum brake at the rear. Opting for the twin-disc variant upgrades the braking system to a 280mm front disc and a 230mm rear disc.

Both the standard and Neon variants of the Pulsar 150 ride on 17-inch alloy wheels fitted with 80/100 front and 100/80 rear tyres. In contrast, the twin-disc variant is equipped with larger 90/90 (front) and 120/80 (rear) tires for enhanced grip and stability.
